Jefferson, WI Meet?

Any of our members attend this great swap meet/show/car sale in Jefferson, WI? Comin' up in April I believe.
April 25-26
This is the largest in the Mid-West.

 

Fall Jefferson was a bust.

 

Really? I know the Spring event had very few cars compared to other years. I think it's a sign of the ecomomy.
What did you find that made it a bust??

 

Nothing except two days of off and on rain.

 

OH. Well.....that's the NORM.

 

-We used to love the spring shows. Usually the weather was comfortable and the crowds large. But this was when peole had jobs and money.

 

I was going to go to the Fall Jefferson but our club did not go at the last minute due to the rain. I am going to try for Spring Jefferson. Anytime I go to just about any Wisconsin show, I come back with some great stuff.

 

------I practically built my Model T touring from that swap meet.

 

I found a fresh rebuilt 400 for my '78 for the tune of $125.......can't go wrong there!

 

Yup...if you go there on Sunday morning when everyone is packing up to leave you can get some great deals! Especially on the heavy stuff that they don't want to lug home....like engines. Got TWO 455's one year for 50 bucks!
