This sounds nice! http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/cto/2581474356.html 1982 Cutlass wagon with Buick Grand National turbo V6 drivetrain. Car body is very good but has one dent in fender and some paint touch ups. No rot in floors or frame, interior in very good shape too. Engine has forged pistons, balanced lower end, ARP rod bolts and head studs, roller cam, ported intake, 60 lb injectors, custom fuel rail, custom headers, ported GN 1 aluminum neads, alcohol injection, John Craig TE60 turbo, roller rockers, etc etc. Trans has 10" lock up converter, Art Carr input shaft and aluminum pan. Car has custom driveshaft, 3.42 8.5" posi, 3" dual exhaust, urethane suspension bushings, huge sway bars, Bilstein shocks, sumped fuel tank, 16" GTA rims and 245/50-16 tires, line lock, rebuilt fast ratio steering box, rally gauge cluster with 442 120 mph speedometer, etc. Everything has about 400 miles on it but car is not running at the moment. It made 407 RWHP and 570 ft lbs of torque on the chassis dyno but I blew a head gasket at the track and started to swap the GN1's on. I never finished the head swap and now I'm thinking of selling it. I'm tired of working on old cars every weekend but if it does not sell I suppose I'll finish it one of these days. I'll take a massive loss on it and let it go as is for $5500. I have around $4000 in the engine and transmission alone to tell the truth. I'll send pics to your email address.
I think this might be a hard sell.. Not a very desirable car,, sounds like could use a paint job and some body work.. And seems to have a minor motor problem... .
HEY!... *&%%$$ (*&^%$ (&$#!! The ad gave me a red flag when I read it yesterday. Lots of talk, but didn't really say anything IMO once you got to doesn't run, wants $$$$, and ...wheres at least one pic...what colour is it??........... ....But, oh yeah would I love a "running" set up like that in mine!
Cool, your pic being a Buick, but doesn't really help when the seller can't put up a pic of the Olds.....
