If this wagon were closer, I would be going after it myself (even though I don't need another white 67 Belvedere wagon).

    Nice!
Kudos to the seller for saying "needs replacing" instead of "needs replaced"

I thought about going up to look at this this weekend. My only concern is how much damage besides the fender and grille? Is the inner fender and frame rail damaged? Guess the only way to know for sure is to go look.

Price is right if the car is right. Might be able to talk him down even.

Would I be stepping on anyone's toes if I go see this? It's in my price range and I was set to look at a car this weekend.

I would assume that this car would need a replacement fender, hood, front bumper, and grille (including the filler panel between the grille and bumper, the headlight surround trim and the hood lip molding). I would expect it to be fairly easy to find replacement parts. Keep in mind that while 66 Belvedere/Satellite sheet metal is the same, the headlight buckets are different on 66 (single headlight), and you'll likely need the headlight buckets along with the fender they are attached to (67 had the dual headlight arrangement). Getting a replacemment fender off a 67 Belvedere II, you would give you the front fender trim as well (though a few Belvedere II sedans and hardtops don't have the upper trim strip).
There is likely minor damage to the radiator core support and the passenger side inner fender, but my guess is that its minor damage and easilly repairable. I would want to see a front end photo, and a photo with the hood open showing the core support and inner fender before making the trip. Its possible that the hood hinge may be sprung as well, but that could be pulled from any 66-67 Mopar B-body.
If you look at the car, try to determine where the point of impact was and how hard it was hit. If it was a real hard hit, I would expect more damage, but, just in case, look for damage to the K frame and front passenger side frame rail. Since the car is drivable. you'll want to test drive it to see how it tracks. If it doesn't track straight, that could indicate damage to either suspension componenents or to the frame. Personally, from what I can see, I don't think the car was hit that hard.
If I were closer and didn't already have one of these, I would be all over this one. Nice that it has the third seat.

I just today posted scans from the 67 Belvedere brochure.

Go for it! It's been posted for a while now so if he still has it it's fair game. If I can break away from "my life" I was planning a trip up there on Sunday but if I really had to have it I'd have been up there days ago. I just want to see it go to a wagon lover, preferably a member here.

It says he has the new fender and that it only needed the one. I assume that meant it got hit at an angle or only half of the front end. Maybe it only needs the bezels on the right side and not the left. Pics are the only way to find out.

I would expect the drivers side fender and headlight bezel to be undamaged.

Yep, but if it hit the grill then that will need to be replaced as well. The guy is sending pics tonight and if I like I will go tomorrow early and get there around the after noon. I mean for 1500 plus gas and trailer. That's a fair price for a little work. I could even put a fresh engine in it and still be within budget.
How much do those bevels and grills usually go for?

Along with the pix...you might want to find out what engine is in there, too. I think the ad just says V8.
