Well we got home last Saturday night from a 1800 kms (1125 miles) trek in the ol' wagon.

We have been using the wagon for our family vacations for the past 4 years, since I got it on the road. The car always performs flawlessly, with some small issues, but never anything to hinder our trip.

This year we were gone for a 8 days, and visited family in Prince George BC, then on the way back down we had the use of a friends cabin at Horsefly lake.

    Here are a few pics....

Stopped at The Bear Claw lodge in Cache Creek BC....

Then some eats in Williams lake BC...Me and my daughters.

Gotta love the big tailgate for sittin' and munchin'... :p

Then on the way back out at the cabin at Horse Fly Lake....

It rained most of the time we were out, and we didn't even need to use the A/C in the wagon once!! Actually we had to turn the heat on one time though. This is the coolest July I can ever remember here in BC...But I love it since I'm not a heat lover.

Any way just wanted to share.

I love it! I can really relate to the full state of that wagon... I use mine primarily for family camping trips, and it is just as full as your's looks. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

It's been some lousy summer so far here in BC... we got rained on constantly while camping this past weekend, but will give it another try this weekend.

That's exactly what wagons are made for! Nice.

I'd be worried about a lake named Horsefly....Those buggers hurt when they bite.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. Looks like a lot of fun. Would it be as much fun traveling in a mundane SUV? I don't think so.

Very cool. That's what wagons are for. You like like it's 1968 all over again.

Thanks for sharing. Wagons and vacations. Just like the good ole days!:yahoo::camera:------Leaving in the morning for our 1100 mile vacation to Illinois to annoy the kids and spoil some grandkids. Sadly with a pick-up truck. Wagon disassembled.

Funny my daughters both said, while cruising along in the wagon, that they would be embarrassed to be seen vacationing in a "normal" car.....Ahh I think I might be bringing them up right.(y)

    Cool!
We plan to do the same thing once the kid gets a little bit older. I have a long way to go before our wagon is ready for the open road. But I can't wait. Just like when I was a kid with my family, me and my 3 brothers fighting, making faces at passing cars as we sat in the rumble seats in the back. ahhh, memories.

Great to see a nice wagon being used for what wagons are built for.
