Why haven't you ALREADY picked it up???
It would drive me nuts letting that car sit somewhere else after I bought it! What happens if someone comes along and offers more money?? Have you paid for it? Do you have the title? I'm getting nervous here. You said you would pick it up "this weekend" and then you said "we pick it up in a week or two"...???

We put a deposit down. It's a very, very rural area, when we were dropping our daughter off at Summer camp my husband and I scout the farms as we drive by, my husbands eagle eye spotted the seafoam green paint. I'm not worried, the old couple that sold it to us I believe are trustworthy, if not then it wasn't meant to be. But it is driving me nuts that she isn't in my garage! She needs to get out of that field ASAP!

An original A/C Rambler wagon in seafoam green, just spotted in a field? And the owner agreed to sell it, instead of the standard "nope, I'm gonna restore that someday", or my favorite "sure, it's 20,000 dollars"! What a score! David :)

I'll do double cheers when that beauty is in the Galbraith driveway! I'd be scared to death to find that score and then leave it there. I must be paranoid.:yup:

I don't want to know and don't want anyone else to know either.:disagree:
I'm curious...is there some reason that you don't just go get it?? I would be there in a heartbeat to get that wagon. If, indeed, I didn't take it the first day that I bought it. Even if it doesn't run I would have that car at my house or at the place I wanted to keep it ASAP. I'm not trying to worry you, really I'm not. But...I AM concerned. You just never know what kinds of strange things can happen when there's an old beauty like that sitting out in the open. Rural or otherwise.

the reason is that we were dropping our daughter off at camp and didn't have the cash on us, I did leave a check deposit and have a receipt. We're coming back this weekend to pick her up and figured we'd get the car on our way home. That is why I don't have her now. Plus you'd never find a rental place around there, we need to get a car tow, one that will lift the entire car, not just the two front wheels..

What a cool find. She looks to be in great shape. I wonder if the current owners are the original ones. Wouldn't be surprised.
    Congrats!!
