The gc topped out at 33.47 at 3pm and has slowly declined since. My wagon has climbed slowly since 4pm to now, thanks to you guys/gals! If we're not wearing him down, we're atleast keeping pace
You + 2 techs + 3 mechanics on your lunch break with their cell phones = 6 votes per day I just had a thought...maybe I could vote from work...would it be possible to vote from each PC in each office??? Is it the PC that has a cache or is it the server(thing) that leaves a marker when we vote?
I must be having a good day...I had another idea two in one day I went onto Canadian Poncho Forum and let the guys there know about Shawn's Vega and the voting...one guy has voted already...aren't car guys great people there's a little 10w30 in all of us regardless of our passion
You visit OTHER forums besides THIS one?!?! What a traitor!! Oh well...better take a rest....TWO ideas in one day??
You're office likely shares one Internet connection amongst all of the PC's. That means that, to the outside world, each of those PC's arrive at websites looking like they've come from the same address. The PollDaddy site tracks our votes both by a browser cookie as well as the IP address that the vote comes from. When you place a vote, their site checks the information in the browser cookie and also compares your IP address against a database of voters from the last 24 hours. They mention that you can vote again "tomorrow" which implies that a vote could be placed again after midnight which is not actually the case. The only way you could vote from all of those PC's would be to change your outbound IP address prior to each vote.
Not only that, we've had a rash of dead voters showing up at the polls in recent years. Anyway, I just hit it again: 44.1%
