Well, its me again. The one that everyone is talking about! Yeah, you've seen my wagon up on Ebay. More than once. But before you all jump to conclusions, we just bought a house and I have this wagon and two 1959 Mercedes Ponton sedans, too. No room.

I did sell the wagon to a fellow back in NC on eBay, but he couldn't find suitable shipping since the wagon doesn't run and nobody wanted to tackle it. So, I put it up on Ebay again after we settled on untying the deal.

To the one that said I bought to flip. That's silly. I dragged this baby from Mississippi to California to RESTORE. I have never done anything like that before and was never aware of how hard it would be to find a tailgate, carb, power steering pump, air cleaner, etc. I would LOVE to keep it but we close on the house in two weeks.

You will see it again up on Ebay starting this coming Saturday evening. (July 30). I can honestly say that I am not happy about getting rid of her. If you could see my enthusiasm at the mere thought of bringing her back to life, you would know I'm not a 'buy and flip' kinda guy.

So, if she doesn't sell, then no sweat off my back. I'm not in the need of money that badly, just room. I can see by Chevy Gal's photos that she has done a remarkable job on her woodgrain! It is what I wanted to do with mine.

Since I got her, I also bought a complete shop manual, vintage brochures and advertisements, radio delete plate, and downloaded as many photos online as I could. We went as far as naming her "MISSY" (Mississippi).

It was a lot of work to get her out to Cali. It will be harder to see her go down the road again....and not behind me on a trailer. :(

    Unless....anyone has a tailgate. :tiphat:

Well, Johnny, it's a shame that you won't have room in your new home for that Chevy wagon. I love those wagons and if I had the room I would snap it up. You are right....it IS a long way to pull a wagon from Tennessee to California. And expensive. Wouldn't make much money on THAT flip.:disagree: I hope someone gets it that will bring it back to life!(y) Good luck.

Thanks, Silverfox! Yeah...I'm not making any money. It cost me $300 for the trailer and about $200 extra in gas (compared to not pulling a trailer) behind my gas-guzzler Dodge RAM Hemi.

She's currently at my sister's horse ranch, but she doesn't want her horse ranch to start looking like...well...Tennessee.

    :deadhorse:

So, I'll have to move her or sell her.

SOLD!!! $1400 to a gentleman in San Fernando Valley, CA. I had it up on eBay again, but that guy backed out and we cancelled the purchase. I hate it when people bid on things and can't fulfill their commitment. But (550 miles) and picked her up.

Anyway, she went to someone that already has a Handyman and is going to complete the car.

    Easy come, easy go.
