    64 wagon

hi, i just bought a 64 impala wagon, going to pick it up in about a week.
I have seen the car and noticed that there only was a hole in the tailgate were the handle should be, but a lot of other trim was removed as well.
It should all be in the car when i pick it up.(i hope :yup:)
As soon as i have the car at home and unloaded i will take some pics..
    ..be patient my friend,

    GREETZZ Paul

P.S. A sneak preview of my new ride..[IMG]

I can take photos of the handle on my 64 Impala tonight, if you still need to see one.

I've found that if the price is too high, but you need it - then bite the bullet and get it. If you don't need it to keep your car on the road - then keep looking.
On the other hand - will another one come up for sale? How many swap meets, junk yards or nights searching websites will it take to find another? How long will you wait for your wanted ads to get answered? What is you time worth? Good Luck!!!

Daytona Turkey Rod run is a very large car-swap meet, coincidently during Thanksgiving. I was looking at literature at a booth. The vendor had misc. car parts holding down the magazines and fliers. I needed a working tailgate handle for my 1955 Chevy wagon. There it was, holding down car books. It wasn't for sale. Of course everything at a flea market is really for sale. Those things are sort of rare, therefore not cheap. Wasn't worried about the key. The old handle centersection with my key worked. Offered the guy $10 and he took it. Then he asked what it was for, figuring I knew. He said he would have asked much more if he'd known. You don't always luck out and find everything you need. When you do ya better grab it. We're not in this game to save money!:rofl2:
