Finally introducing myself. My name is Vance and I live on the Central Coast of California and I have a 1964 Bel Air Station Wagon. I purchased it as a daily driver but barely and my goal is to bring it back to a good operating condition. Thanks for the help that you guys have already given me. I will try to contribute by posting all that involved with this project.

    Vance

Hey Vance - I had a '64 Impala SS convertible for 8 years, sold it to buy my wagon (and to help out on kids college expenses - 3 in college this year - yikes!). Anyway, I did a lot of wrenching on my Impala (new suspension, brakes, steering, engine, trans, etc.) and I have a lot of reference material. Let me know if you have any questions. Great looking pups too! I've got two Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix guys named Jake and Elwood - I need to post a pic of them.

:Welcome:to the forum. Have fun fixin up the dog kennel. I see I'm gonna have to get a dog to fit in here. Kids all moved out. Still have a wife till I can figure out how to get her to move out. Maybe I can put a collar and leash on her and let her ride with her head hangin out the window! :yahoo:
