Greetings, Glad to be able to finally join the club. I have been a fan of the wagon for many years and in August of last year it finally all came together. I now have a 1967 Ford Ranch Wagon with a 390 2V. I purchased it from someone in NY who had purchased it in Georgia. It has undergone a restoration and other than a slight colour change it is fairly close to what rolled off the line in Atlanta on November 23, 1966. Through some digging I have found that the original owner kept the vehicle until 1999. I was looking for a while and am very happy with what I now have. Still trying to get used to the attention that it receives as I drive it around town, if the roads are dry I will be out cruising. Looking forward to interacting with everyone here and hope to gain some knowledge when needed. Cheers!
lets see...your a Canukian...you own a Ford....your proud to drive a wagoon.....yup....you'l be fine.......... BP...and congrats on the beast !! lets see her!!!!!
Not a bad lookin' buggy! Enjoy! And keep an eye on your oil level. The 390s are known for oil leaks, and that could spell trouble!
Thanks for the kind words and advice. The previous owner had everything rebuilt including having the engine done by Jasper Engines. It has approx. 2000 miles since it was done and runs great. I have always loved the Country Squires however this wagon is so nice that I just had to get it. The only changes in store will be to make it dual exhaust. cheers!
Are you any relation to Gordon Pinsent or Heather Gayle? I knew them both as friends many years ago, and later learned they were stage actors across Canada, and a couple flicks (actually a lot of them)? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0684521/?ref_=nv_sr_1 Heather was more a stage actress, although she did show up in an X-Factor show in 2011.
