    Hi guys,

I have a 1969 Merc Colony Park with power windows. These windows work sporadically. I would like to get inside my doors to repair/replace the power window motors but I don't want to ruin the door panels to do so. Can anybody tell me how to take off my door panels without wrecking them?

    Thanks,

    Rod

They're held on with an Iveco clip. A bent wire clip that slides sideways onto the panel, and then press fits into a hole in the door.

You need to squeeze the clips at the point where they go into the door, to release them from the hole. One at a time.

There are long handled tools that you can buy at most auto parts stores made just for that.

If you just yank the panel off, you'll likely tear the board the clip slid on to.

Most online suppliers like Macs also sells them.

I haven't had a chance to try removing the door panels yet as the wagon is still in the shop. I should get her back next week and I'll give it a try then. As for pictures of the BIG M, I'll try to attach them to this post.
