:Welcome: Darrell: So what are your plans? Would look really nice with the nose lowered a bit and some 17's all around. These wagons look really good in the dirt!!!!!!!!!!

    Welcome to the group.

I'm thinking if you paint redo the wood trim. It will look good lowered with some 18's. You could lose the roof rack if you want to. I think the wood paneling make it look good actually. I saw a 80's Country Squire on a web site somewhere that was bagged, and the wood paneling gave it some "pop". On the wheels maybe do a 5 spoke design. I'm almost tempted to put some American Racing mags on my 73 Ford Country Sedan sometimes.

Torq-Thrusts are the wheels I was thinking about...

i found some boss 338 wheels that kinda look like the torq .. with black is thereor gray 17or 18s i have seen them on a lot of street rods .the wood on the trim has came off and not sure how you can fix that .?? do you cut the springs to lower the wagon ?

    thanks darrell

I wouldn't cut the springs, it would give you a lousy ride. Maybe do air bags instead. Woodgrain trim mouldings can be refurbished, I think there's some company out on the west coast that does it,There's a thread about them on here somewhere.I just can't remember at the moment.
