I just picked up my 1st wagon. An '87 Chevy Caprice Classic Estate 9 pass. wagon. One owner with 83K miles on it. I think it has every option that was available at the time. No rust to speak of and super nice interior.
    Needs mostly minor cosmetic work.
It has oversize tires on it so I need to change that and I'd like to put different wheels on it (NOT 22" or anything like that, I'm really old school).
It seems to run and drive great but I know it's been setting for some time so I'll go thru it and do a tune up.
Anyway, just wanted to brag a little about my new baby. She's a jem.

Those GM box wagons are nice wagons, donz. I'm glad to hear you will leave it mostly stock. I'm old school, too, and would like to see stock wagons live on.

Nice wagons. Treated right they do the same right back at you.

I enjoy seeing a clean mostly unmolested one going down the road. A nice set of wheels can make quite a difference, but stock, if the wheels and tires are clean and the right size for the wheel wells, they just look pretty.

    Congrats on your new wagon.

    We do enjoy pictures ;)

Congrats on your first wagon. I agree keeping it mostly stock is a good idea. As for wheels, Chevy had lots of nice factory options over the years that would look great.

    Cheers,
    Ken
