    Lil...

Welcome to the Jungle...as it were !!!
At 315 ponies...the Vdubs would be flying by you on the Autobon...
    Pump that pup up!!!
A little valve work (port and polish), headers, and a roller cam...
Would put you into the 400 pony bracket!!!
    And about 450 ft.lbs. torque !!!
Now we're talking and scooting!!! And TWISTING !!!
And you shouldn't hurt your gas mileage...much...
Just keep the compression around 9:1 and medium grade petrol...
No worries...and no pesky RICERS !!!
    Just GRUNT !!!
    Later,
    Bruce

    Selling is not a must.
But I love to have a car from '35-'48 all my life.
The problem is that the money must come from somewhere ...
But as I said, if there will be not an acceptable offer - I'll stay with it.
    So I think you're a member of GSRA ?
Or did you read it in the bugnet ?

    Michael

I read it in the bugnet! ;)
I do understand you well and I don't know what I would do in your situation. Probably the same!
