      Is this one of those "clamshell" tailgates?..Had a friend with one of these.He was very proud of his wagon,,,until he needed help closing the tailgate.The trick was to pull on the tailgate and the window while he turned the key,to activate the electric motors.Which were,apparently,inadequate and/or all worn out...Good luck with fixing that problem,whatever it may be.
