Recently, I picked up a nice 1/64th scale replica of a 1973 Caprice wagon made by Johnny Lightning. Apparantly it's pretty popular around here! I got the last one in the store, and subsequently haven't seen them anywhere else!

Which one did you receive? I found the one with the "13 Customs" graphics. I was hoping to find the woodgrain one, as that is the only thing close to finding anything close to my 73 Pontiac (which due to unfortunate circumstances I no longer own). But beggars can't be choosers.

I got the "13 Customs" model. There were several of those there (Wally World). I'm not too thrilled with the paint graphics, but I was happy to find the "clamshell" model in diecast. I didn't know that there was one with woodgrain. I definitely did not see that one...or I would gave gotten it, instead.

Around here, I only find these cars at WalMart and ToysRUs...occassionally at Target. If I see the woodgrain model, I'll let you know...

Now I have a new car to hunt for. I'm too obsessive about this...this can't be good. :rofl2:

    A few of my own

I really wish someone would make a '73-'78 Ford LTD Country Squire but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I know there is a '75 LTD CS in Matchbox form, yellow with wood grain, however I have never seen one. Here are a few of my own.

And of course the new Chrysler Lebaron wagon in 1/24th scale.

And the price it sold for reflected that! Over $14K. Wow. I'd drive it!
