Give Stephan time. He'll get to it soon. This isn't his day job.

    Thanks Stefan [IMG]!!

But I think it's not worth the time and effort to scan/resize/edit those articles and put them online.

This board has 3,392 members at this moment, my last scan (1958 Oldsmobile) only had 12 views in the last 22 hours...[IMG]

Patiencia, amigo! Its finally summer here in the North. We're busier than one-armed wallpaper hangers. In fact, where I live in Canada's navel, we only have two seasons - Winter and Construction.:biglaugh:

Keep on posting, we get 12 long weekends here, and it usually rains on those days. :biglaugh::wave:

I guess I must've been one of the 12. I enjoyed the heck out of that article. What a history that car has.

    Well, I gave it a chance...(y)
But what you're saying in the quote above isn't really the reason.

A thread like "so, how many miles are on your wagon?" (just as an example) was posted on May 22nd, and today, May 29th it had 225 views.

I posted a scan about a model year 1958 Oldsmobile Super 88 wagon on May 17th, and it only got 24 views.

Explain to me why people, ("busy because summer is finally here") still have the time to read the "so, how many miles are on your wagon?" thread, but don't have the time to read the Oldsmobile scans ?

It takes almost 1 hour to scan, cut, resize, edit and upload a 4 pages article like that, before I think that the quality is good enough to post it on this board.
I'm not moaning, I just think it's a waste of time to continue scanning, editing and posting those articles if the general interest is that low.

But I will keep an eye on new threads/introductions:
If I have an article about a similar wagon from the same model year, I will post it in that thread (y)

Have you gone to your scanner's manufacturer's web site to see if an updated driver is available for it?

That message was posted on 2009-02-09, so that's over 1 year ago (y)
And there was no updated software available...[IMG]

But in the near future I will make a change, and start using a Mac [IMG] !!!

Erik, I try to look at all the posts except the new cars coming on the market. The Vintage pics and yours are reference materials worthy of collecting. So I let them build up a few days and then collect and classify them to move to a CD or DVD.

When our 6 month winter comes, I can haul out the popcorn and a drink and play some Beach Boys music or Nelson Riddle and travel through the memory highways, when I bought some of those magazines way back then.
