Welcome! Another Ford and Pennsy man! I'm a native of Philadelphia, but ran aground here in Norfolk after the Navy.

Hey Rev, what color is your '63 Country Sedan? My Dad bought one brand new and we had it for 7 or 8 years after they had handed it down to my two older brothers. It was champagne gold with red vinyl interior and no carpet. It had that vinyl/rubber floor covering. To this day, I remember falling asleep in that back seat and waking up with the imprint of the seat design imbedded in my face! Welcome aboard 69crew.
Welcome to the forum, 69crewcab! You sure have had a lot of wonderful Ford wagons! '64 Country Sedan is a great choice. I know you find a good one! David
I know, right? As I remember it, there was nothing subtle about the red, either. It was a RED interior!! They called the color champagne gold, but it was really more of a greyish/tan color. Dad ordered it the way he wanted it and despite my relentless pleading, refused to go with the Squire. He said he didn't like the wood and it would probably fade in a year or two. Eventhough we had 4 boys, I couldn't talk him into the 3rd rear seat either. He was frugal, to say the least, but he did get it brand new, so I'll give him that. Hey I found a pic of one with the same color combo, though Dad's only had a 289, not the monster motor this fender badge indicates this one has! One of the neatest thing about the '63 was that the hood emblem in the middle of the grille was also the hood release.
..years ago i had a 55 ranch wagon...took it camping..(translation...got drunk at a party and slept in it) couldnt figure out why everyone was laffin at me in the morning...till i looked in the mirror ...only to see the 'steer head' perfectly tattoo'd on the side of my face !! oh... and mine is black bod with Red interior
Rev, could you do me a favor and post a pic of it, especially the interior? I'm sure it would bring back a whole lot of memories.
