They’re not wagons but I love both of the ‘64 Fords, and the sedan has rocker moldings. The red convertible reminds me of Hazel.

Thanks Barry. I never expected it would get to be this extensive. There have been many great contributors all along the way, so I definitely can't take any credit for it becoming what it has.

Man that ‘61 Ford has major buggege on the front bumper. Neat pic.

There is so much goodness going on in that picture all the way from the ‘60 Olds wagon to the’57 Ford all the way down to the curb feelers on that Impala. Man where we have come from. Yuck

HAD to comment on this one...

Most definitely looks like a So Cal boulevard - wider than your typical residential street....

Anyways, while growing up, our new next-door neighbor bought a brand-new '59 Chevy JUST like this (although I don't remember the interior color) 2-door hardtop. Some time later, within a year I think, there was a RED '59 Chevy 2-door hardtop in the driveway. He had it painted! Anyway, that's my story on that.

Coincidently, I revisited Cabrillo Bl., the street I grew up on, recently on Google earth, and there has been some BIG changes involving the little 2-beedroom house the next-door neighbors that owned the Chevy lived in. The whole house has been torn down and replaced with a giant 2-story modern monster.... See for yourself.....
First, for reference, here's our original house, with dad's '48 Dodge in the driveway (This pic was taken in 1956, shortly after my folks bought the house):
    Cabrillo house 1956.jpg

Then, for the timeline, here's the house at Christmas time in 1969, after some remodeling - garage had been turned into a den, and 2 bedrooms, a bath and a 1.5 car garage added in back....

    Christmas 1969.jpg

On to the present (well. maybe a year ago, but who's counting?)
This time also showing the next-door neighbors' house, which was fairly similar to our original house, but may have been a bit larger, with a detached 2-car garage in back..... It's been replaced by a monster! Some changes to our old house as well. The 2-story addition in back was added by a later owner some years ago, like around the early to mid 80's. The fence and hedges in the front yard are new, as is the paint.....

Thanks for sharing. The only constant seems to be the driveway. Lol. Did that green ‘69? Ford replace the ‘66 Caprice wagon? Or was the wagon around back?

Yeah, the '69 Galaxie 500 replaced the Caprice wagon. I think it was mostly that my stepmom didn't like driving a.........station wagon. And by 1969, us kids were getting older. I graduated HS in June of that year, and would move out by the spring of 1970. That only left my stepsister (1 year younger); stepbrother (2 or 3 years younger); and my sister (5 years younger). The second car in the family, mom's '63 Falcon blew the engine around 1970 as well, and they just junked the car. After a failed experiment with a 'smoky' old Sunbeam Alpine, I think dad had an old Datsun 510 wagon for a while. Sorta hazy on their 2nd car situation during that period...... I wasn't around a lot.

‘71-‘72? By the looks of that GMC truck and the back end of that LeSabre.
