When we started back in May with the application, we didn't see anybody until the end of June. I've got one roofer who'd do it even in MINUS 30C (Freakin' COLD). the others would wait until spring, unless the temps stay about -10C (20F or so). Can't do the roof until the new vent stacks are relocated to the west side. No Plumbing quotes except this first General Contractor quote. Can't insulate upstairs until the Electrical is done.

I'm gonna shave off my short and curlies so he can't twist 'em anymore!:biglaugh:

DANG Norm, here we have been out of work for the last month, waiting on approval from the bank to start this job and youy can't get anyone to do yours? Wish we were up your way, we do it all, so it would be just us from start to finish ans we are very anal about perfection. We often care more about the job then most of our customers. They say that looks good, where we are redoing something that just does not look good enuff for us.

We finally start monday morning. I miss the money, but have been enjoying sitting around in my house pants and hangin with the wife, kids, and you clowns ofcourse.

Unemployment is DOWN here and in Saskatchewan. They've struck Oil in both, in oil wells, and that's attracting new construction. What can I say!? If the weather holds out, Construction Season might be longer than Winter this year!:biglaugh:
