Sure glad to finally be a member. I've been reading this forum ever since I bought my 1994 Chevy Caprice wagon 3 weeks ago. Some of the old wagon picks bring back fond memories. I lived in a station wagon until I went off to college. With eight of us in the family, it was the only thing that would accomodate us. Now I've got a big flock of grandkids, and I didn't want to subject them to a ride in the ubiquitous long SUV's. Started looking for an old wagon and got lucky on Craigslist: 120,000 miles, clean as a whistle North Carolina car, and only $1700. Feeling so lucky I'm working out a deal on another one right now: 1995 85,000, not quite as clean Buick Roadmaster. I've got lots of questions, so I'll let them rip.
onthewagon! Glad to have you in the family. Congrats on your new purchase and good luck on the next one. Have any 's yet?
You can post them here, in your garage found in your profile or in the gallery. Welcome to the family, fellow B Body brother! I have 2 Roadmaster myself and lookin for a 3rd all the time.
Blackfoot, tell me about the wagon doing donuts video you have playing. I told my students about buying the wagon and I wanted to show them that video and tell them it was my "test drive". I've hunted everywhere for it online in a bigger format so that I can show it via an overhead projector in the classroom and can't find it anywhere. It's been driving me crazy.
I think you can post them to your profile, or better yet, upload them as an attachment to your reply on this thread. The latter is the way I usually do it...seems easier, lol. You should see a "Manage Attachments" button below the box in which you type your next reply. It should allow you to browse your files on your computer, select the pic you want and upload it. I'm no techie, but this is how I've managed to post pics. Good luck, I hope this helps.
Well, well, well. I guess it did. By the way, I'm a B-body sister, not brother. Car lover all the same.
Whoops, my bad, sorry bout that sis. We do not get many ladies in our midst. Good lord, now we have to watch ourselves and clean up our acts. Here ya go. Its a clip taken from the NASCAR FedEx commercial.
