Hi everyone! I'm not even sure how long its been since I wandered away from online forums for a while. Its nice to see some old familiar names in the recent posts. I have missed you all.

Special greetings to Krash Kadillac, Fannie, Fat Teddy, Wagonmaster and the memory of Silverfox.

    Thanks!

Krash, It looks like my last post was a little over 3 years ago. Wow!
Bought a new house, got married and welcomed a 45th anniversary Camaro and a 2013 Tesla Model S into the family.
Unfortunately, my wagon is still parked. My friend who helped me with the engine rebuild did not do the the work on the heads that he said he would. Valve springs are weak and I just have not had the time or energy to pull the heads back out again.

You don't need to pull the heads to change the springs. You just need the air hose adapter that comes with a compression tester and a valve spring compressor.

Thanks OldFox. I have heard of this method and I have both of those tools. I may get the nerve to try it.

My wife bought it a few years before we met. She named it Steve. It is the V6 Automatic model. It may not be a snarling beast, but it is super comfortable and responsive to drive.

    Cool. :thumbs2:
I like snarling beasts, but I also like cars that are comfy and look good going down the road or sitting still.
