Hey Jeremiah, I found this on YouTube, instantly thought of you (although it's a Belvedere):

Now all you have to do is convince one of your son's to take up the 'cordeen.

Jay picked up Al in front of his old family home in Lynwood, CA (suburb south of downtown LA). He doesn't mention the sad story about his parents, who died in the house from carbon monoxide poisoning, because of a malfunctioning HVAC system.

Same thing with Walt and Roy Disney. They built their folks a home in California and apparently they reversed the pipes in the house or something along those lines both of them died from carbon monoxide poisoning, and the boys never spoke of it again.

Thanks for thinking of me Andrew. I must admit, I did kind of get excited when he started describing the car of his youth, especially the push button transamission.

Our family had a 63 Dodge with the push button transmission and it was a cool design. No lever to add clutter on the right side of the steering wheel and with the buttons being to the left of the wheel only the driver had access. For some reason my Dad thought that was a safety feature. Maybe he thought my sister or I would go beserk one day and want to take over the car.

1964 was the last year for the Chrysler Corp. push-buttons on the automatics. My Dart was a '65, so I missed having that feature......

I thought the push buttons were novel, but a pain to maintain/adjust. Having said that, I've never worked on one....
