My Wife and I pulled the trigger and bought a 1972 Pontiac Lemans Wagon; the one that was on this Forum's for sale page. It will go well with our other three Pontiacs; a 1966 Lemans, a 2002 Trans Am, and a modified 1978 Trans Am. Going through the car over the next few weeks to check her out. (Her official name is Wendy Wagon) as that's what my Wife has named her! Looking forward to getting her on the road!
Congrats on the new acquisition! That's one totally AWESOME looking longroof! Oh by the way welcome to forums, a lot craziness here, but with a lot of great folks also! Hope you enjoy your stay!....Longroofs Rule!
He mentioned in the sale thread that they have 2 Collies which would make the Poncho quite a stand out at a dog park.
Currently two collies; Jack and Farrah. They are well-known at the car shows we attend. They were even the ending credits to the Lokar Car Show at Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge.
OK, Pontiacs at Pigeon Forge and your last picture named "... Black Mountain" - you gotta be close to me, even if just for a bit. Where are you located? And welcome to the forums! That's a nice wagon.
We live in Raleigh, NC. Have three other Pontiacs; our restomodded 1978 Trans Am, our 2002 Collector's Edition Trans Am, and our 1966 modded Lemans.
Welcome to the Forum. That’s a great looking car. Looking forward to seeing your progress as you go through it. It sounds like the perfect stable mate to your other Pontiacs. Tommy's mom never had such a cool hauler for Lassie.
Well you aren't that close to me then, but like me you sure get around. You're... three hours or so? ... from me. I am about 1.5 hours northeast from Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area.
Thank you very much! Just started cleaning seats and carpet; apparently someone must have been working on oil derricks or something as I pulled a lot of oil out of the seats and carpet so far. Today is replacing valve cover gaskets, checking fluids, and replacing the rear pinion seal.
