We've seen this Pontiac before and these photos are old. https://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/cto/d/plainwell-1977-pontiac-grand-safari/7144288479.html
I remember this one with the missing roof rack & no headliner. I dont remember it being in the western part of Michigan though, for some reason I remember it being from the Monroe area south of Detroit.
Carpet could be a Do It Yourself project, the headliner in these wagons are alot more work. Doable for sure but you better have a plan in place and good cardboard backing to start with. The holes in the roof were the roof rack was makes me suspect the rear headliner card board may not be in that great of condition.
I'm pretty sure it has always been over here. I recall seeing it listed on the Grand Rapids CL last time. Plainwell sounds familiar as well.
Yup. Carpet is easy, headliner is work. You could spend $250-300 and have a shop redo it for you, but most people refuse to spend that kind of money on a car they are selling.
Now down to $2200. 1977 pontiac grand safari station wagon - cars & trucks - by owner -... (craigslist.org)
I think I know a buyer, but he's out here in Oregon. He'll spend maybe $800 or so on it, then slap a $14,500 price tag on it.........
Ha!!! This actually looks like a worthwhile buy at that price - good options, but understood the 400 V8 will need to be rebuilt or replaced.
