What a breath of fresh air. Someone undertaking a restoration of a plain 70's Chevy sedan. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm so sick of articles where everything that's not a convertible or muscle car "isn't worth your effort" to restore. I don't know about you guys, but I have a '62 Dodge Dart 330 sedan that I will be restoring just for the sentimental value. I don't care what it's worth, I just love the car. Isn't that why we restore cars and participate in the hobby? It seems everyone is a self-anointed appraiser, especially on these reality TV shows. Just think if the generation before us didn't keep the sedans or wagons that they did...we'd be all the poorer for it.

If I see one more fake '69 Camaro Z-28, I'll bust....but show me a 69 Biscayne sedan survivor with a 6 and 3spd and you've got my attention.

I owe you a beer woody....heck I'll even get you a barrel to tap! what a great topic - a 75 Impala sedan.

I agree, we need to see more "plane jane" cars at the local shows and on the road.
I did my part. Back when station wagons weren't cool I bought and built my 1955 Chevy wagon, partially to be a parts hauler, partially to be my mini van when I hated real mini vans, and partially just because I like '55 Chevys.

Thanks guys....I have been asked so many times during this process, why a sedan. Why not? I love it. Here are the doors and trunk lid resting in the bedroom until I complete the dirty work. still have to lift the body back onto the frame, so I thought it would be easier without these attached yet.
