New to the forum. New to the wagon world even though mine was parked for 10 years after i bought it. Wagon was reborn June of 2015 after a six year heart transplant and suspension upgrade. Looking for power vent windows for the rear doors. Or just the right side non power vent window frame, or a whole right rear door. My vent window frame bottom pin which it rotates on broke off.

:Welcome: aboard! Looks like a nice Malibu wagon. Could you tell us a little more about..what it's powered by, suspension upgrades, etc.?

Power vents have gotten extremely hard to find. When I had a few opportunities to score a set, I passed them by. It's a pretty common malady with the vent window frame shafts seizing up and snapping. Ask me how I know.:90:

Where are you located, just in case I can locate one up for you.

    Jack

When I did my 1982 conversion I threw all the doors away. (W/motorized vent glass) Sorry!

    Sounds nice.
I did the budget thing. Front GTA 36mm swaybar, GN rear swaybar, Monte SS steering box, Jeep Cherokee intermediate shaft, GN 8.5 rearend, boxed rear lower control arms, GP front crossbrace, and Monte SS jounce bars, Lemans fender to rad support braces, and radiator support X-braces.. KYB gas-adjust shocks and F41 springs. The engine is a mild 355 smallblock putting out approx. 300hp. Nothing earth shattering. It has new a/c, Monte SS buckets, console, and tilt column. Pontiac GP dash. Energy Suspension urethane body mounts, and control arm bushings.
I will be upgrading the brakes with 2wd Blazer dual piston calipers up front, and a 200-4R transmission.

Where is the car coming from and going to?

You might also want to check out the G-bodyForum. There's a bunch of G-body wagon guys on there, including myself. A lot of good information on the site. https://gbodyforum.com/

Coming from Janesville, Wi., going to Pinellas Park, Fl. I had an 81 about 10 years ago. It had a built 355 LT1, 4L60e and a GN rear. This one will get a stock LT1, 4L60e. I just want a nice driver.

Was this car on Maliburacing? I seem to remember one in that area, or neck of the woods. I think it has an LS engine, nice paint and wheels, if in fact it's the car I'm thinking of.. You'll have to post some pics of it after it arrives.

Your '81 sounded like a nice ride as well.

Oh, so it's coming to Florida?...cool!

No, I found it on craigslist. Are you going to Daytona?
