Those mats don't quite hide the carpet stains.

Lots of little things need repaired but probably worth the money if it runs and handles well.
Those bubbles may come out with a pin and plastic spatula.
Oddly there is a rip in rear right seat bottom and the rest looks decent. Doors will clean up with cleaner and dye.

Look at one of the rear shots. The driver's side rear panel to the left of the tailgate has the wood grain going in the wrong direction...oops.

Be careful, if you're interested in this one. We've got a bit of 'history' with this dealer. They seem to obtain vehicles that need lots of detail work, then minimize (or don't mention) the problem areas in their ad. They have a '90 Buick Estate that's the same deal as this '67 Caprice.

    Personally, I wouldn't trust them.

For 10 large I would just like a little better detail. Personally, I would clean the interior before selling it. It looks like they did as little as possible. It'd be different if they were asking 5G.

Interior looks to be originally gold, but has a green front seat and blue rear seat.

    Carpet is TERRIBLE.

I had a 68 Impala Wagon w/396, T400, AC, 12 bolt posi, ralley wheels, roof rack, factory dual exhaust, but it didn't have a panard bar. Kinda looks outta place to me, but could be wrong.

The fender and the door do not line up properly. The seats are different colors. The carpet looks like someone threw up on it and the seller wants 10K. I don't think so. How hard is it to clean up the interior?

And the ad says clean interior. I believe his standards are different than mine...

They are a dealer you would HAVE to go in person to look at the car before bidding. I bought my 93 Caprice wagon from them and nowhere near the 3000 they had been wanting. Example of description of my car, "everything works" translated to "everything we checked worked" and we didn't check the A/C that cycled every 2 seconds or the radio that wouldn't even play or the horn, etc. Photos were taken to hide the completely peeled roof clearcoat and badly peeling hood clearcoat and no mention of the destroyed handle for locking the 3rd seat. On the plus side, the 4 matching tires were good and only 4 years old by the date codes, tranny has been perfect, suspension had no surprises and drives straight, brakes work great. Well worth the nearly $1100 I paid as a daily driver in usable condition but if I had been a long distance buyer for his original buy it now price of 3 - 4 grand the ebay buyback would have been put in motion for very deceptive description of condition. The wagon was in better condition then I had expected since most dealers of these old cars only hope they make it a couple miles down the road before needing a repair.

The dealer's descriptions and general ad hype have gotten a little better after he had a few ebay sales fall through-including one on the wagon I bought- but this auction is just a repost from when the dark glasses were on and the description can't be trusted.:naughty:

One thing that did get me is that the placard on the side of the car says Caprice, but they make a big deal out of it being an Impala! If they can't read the side of the car, just how closely did they look at anything!

They have it listed as IMPALA/CAPRICE, the seats don't look as different colored to me as they look wrecked by UV rays. I would pay half that for the car.

Down here in Fort Pierce, in 1968, all the car dealers put tons of their new '68's all over the parking lot of SearsTown. Mom and I fell in love with a white Caprice woody with no options but maybe PS, PB, and automatic. That was the first and last wagon she ever commented on.

Feedback would worry me... Awful lot of negatives saying similar things.

I would avoid this dealer or tread very carefully. I remember, a couple years back, how they marked up and misrepresented an '88 Buick Estate wagon. They had bought it from another ebay seller and then proceeded to try to flip the vehicle. They misrepresented the mileage as 100,000 even though the carfax from the previous ebay seller showed 146,000. They neglected to mention rust issues and left out issues that should have been disclosed. That vehicle had failed smog and there was visible rust under the rear windows. They even listed it in Ebay Australia with an item location of Australia even though the vehicle was still in So. Cal.

This vehicle looks like contact paper was applied to the outside body. I doubt that wood wrapping would last much longer without coming off. Some attempts of a redye may have occurred since everything else on the inside looks sun-faded. I don't even see black plates on the vehicle.
