Oh Yeah. Noticed why the Rev only chimes in at night? Too many roofs to clean in the yard.

Yeah, it can be an issue on buildings and cars. I think it's a big deal, all the way down to Northern California. Wet conifer forests and almost constant incoming cool Pacific winds.

Ok, yeah, I get that. But...with a metal roof you could power wash it....right? Or would you have to turn it up to high that it would dent the roof?

Oh yeah you could wash it off on a Steel roof, with a powerwasher, or probably a carwash broom connected to the regular hose and scrub it off. Sort of like cleaning cloth diapers.:rofl2: If it wasn't a baked on paint, though you'd probably have to refinish, using a powerwasher. Aluminum shed roofs would be fairly easy.

Copper roofs? That would be interesting. Most of our Parliaments, including Victoria, BC have copper roofs. They usually replace them every 40 years or 50 years.

Metal roof, the get peasure washed all the time out here because of moss. Most metal roofs now are 24gage thicker so denting is'nt really a problem. Standing on a wet metal roof, thats another story:dancing::rofl:

Moss does'nt like copper to much, the coppers patina witch can/has killed people is a good moss deturant.

Went real good all around, Our new pup Rascal met todlers for the first time, no leash but I kept a dead grip on his colar at all times. He just does'nt know yet that he can blow a kid of there feet in a blink of a eye, he'll understand in time. Had alot of moss thrown at me....bit more than I wanted at times:rant2::biglaugh::p:biglaugh:. Brooms, leaf blower, Gutters all cleaned, corner joints cleaned with white gas and re-caulked. I even had some beers ( I'm not supposed too) I am a cheap drunk now thats for sure! 3 beer and I felt ripped:biglaugh:

I figure around noon I'll go out and sweep up the rear patio and drive way of the mess.

Being drunk before noon is a sure sign that you don't drink enough and your tolerance is too low.

Don't worry, I let my passport expire so I can't get there without being detained at the border....

Hans wonder if Tedy ever got the roof demossed?
I thought a little moss on shingles down here in Florida was bad to have to sweep off. I used to do that myself in an hour and drink my own beer.

Now I notice the place we are moving in Illinois has pine needles on half the roof. I may have to trick someone into sweeping that off. But I know my oldest son and son in law like flavored beer. I can tease them with a few bottles.:drink:
George Washington cut down his dad's cherry tree so I suppose Hans can cut down his wife's pine tree.
