The net says it's 26c for the high today = 79f. Under my oak trees where I plan on living today in the dog pool is apx 23c = 73.4f. And now that the sun is beaming down derectly over my drive way and there is no breeze at all today it's a whopping 35c = 95f dead heat between my and the house next door!:49:

I know where some of you live, you will be saying, 'Ya big woosie", we live in over 100+f all summer every day. Just remember though, when the temp drops to 70f where you live come winter...... you will be wearing winter cloths and I'll still be wearing shorts:D

This one is for you, cat!..............

The HVAC system readout says it's 84F outside right now. Feels more like 88 or so.........Just past noon and my pits are soaked. All I did was hang a 2x6 on the shed wall to hold up a couple of bikes. I'm done for the day........

About three hours ago here, it was supposedly 98 degrees in the shade. Strangely, it's not that bad out, until I get into my non working air Nissan Xterra.

Only 82 where we are at. Put the windows down on the '57 and we went for a cruise around the countryside. Nice cool breeze, good tunes, lots of waves, was nice. Now we are settled on the deck, shady trees, reading and relaxing before heading to a BBQ for dinner. Life is very good.

5:25 PM eastern time.... Right now live and in NW Florida-------- Actually it's chilly out today, I think. Weather says 90 with only 95 degree heat index. But that's because it is cloudy, thundering, and raining.
With the AC humming inside I'm not sure what's going on and don't plan on opening any doors to find out.
Iced tea without sugar, northern style, tastes good with Sharp chedder cheeze and Ritz crackers. Life is good far a few minutes.:drink:
Be better with BBQ for dinner.

The Exploder said 87* (that's 30.5* for those who know what a Metric System is...) an hour ago, and because my t-shirt's sticking to my back, I know it's also humid, which I hate, of course. Got one fan drawing air through the apartment and a stand fan directly facing me.

    HAHA......

I thought i was done for the day......
#1 daughter calls. Says she was just given a (working) window air conditioner, and wants me to install it for her.

Now, my #1 daughter is not known for her patience. So dear old dad had to pack up a load of tools (including my table saw) in the back of the Way Back Machine and head on over there. Took a couple hours, but I got it done.

The way she was talking about herself being much more skilled with hand tools than her sister (which is true...), I should have just loaned her some tools, given her some lumber and let her figure it out........:rofl2:

I helped my dad hang trusses for his new shop today. I didn't mater what the thermo-meter said, it was flat stinken HOT.
Glad I got the A/C recharged in my truck.

Wow OrthmannJ, my niece lives in Yakima, btw. I imagine she has a few choice words for it. I have an online friend in Corvalis OR who says they're under a heat alert. I guess the lower to mid 90's here isn't too bad. It was 80 outside a few minutes after six this morning. Hope you all find good ways to deal with it.

Right now it is 20 degrees Celcius, or 68 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also raining, with thunderstorms expected later.

Last night it was soooooo nice cool I decided to sleep outside, didn't even need a blanket but just the shirt on my back, best night sleep in a long time(y)..............and now I wait for todays oven.

Inner harbor calls for 29c = 84f and 24c = 75f on the water front both get the ocean breeze. Airport says 28c = 82f, they also get complete ocean breeze so at my house I'm expecting into the 90's again and looks like a no breeze day at my house.

BTW, (y)(y)(y) for being dad to the rescue, KK. Been there done that, still hate that when it happens, still will do it again, and again, and again no questions asked other than commenting to my girl.... "About time you got a boyfriend who could do this kinda stuff for you":biglaugh:

Tedy------>Slept in the yard with just the shirt on my back.:slap:

Not a pretty mental picture Tedy. Hope the neighbors had their curtains closed. :rofl2:
Right now 85 and feels 93. Been cooler lately. Also thundering again.... yet ...still. White fluffy clouds now and then. So it's not real hot out. Kinda chilly here at the computer!:)
