Sad to say, living in So Cal my whole life up to '09, I never visited Lions......or OC Raceway. OC Raceway was closed in '83, and I had moved there in '81.

If I get out of the dentist office early enough (only a cleaning), I am going to try to get my wagon to the shop to have a new exhaust system put on, as well as have new rear shocks put on.

It MAY have to wait until Tuesday, we will see I guess.

What a different a little paint on the trim can make! Looks great!

I've been really busy on body work. I need to get this painted and reassembled so I can start driving it!

Well I have to take the wagon tomorrow, as he said it will take 2 hours and after my dentist appointment it will be too late.

He said if it needed the entire exhaust system that it will run me around $260.00 and they will put on the shocks for $30.

I am slowing making progress on this car, but wow, it is costing me. lol.

I spent $277.00 on it today... new exhaust (complete) and new rear shocks. Rides like a dream. :)

lol! No, I am slowly getting there with it! Oh yeah I was at the dentist on Monday and he was upset that I still have perfect teeth. He cannot make any money off of me. LOL!

I managed to also get my seat moved back today, took care of a squeaky brake pedal plunger and put my rear view mirror back on.

I finally installed my aluminum valve covers. I bought them cheap, but ended up putting a lot of elbow grease into them. Makes a big difference, now I need to paint the air cleaner and polish the lid...

    Step Plate

The step/load plate on the 64 was like a sill plate ,just thin aluminum and was beat to death. A friend works for a place that does chemical milling on aircraft parts. He had the emblem and depth chemically machined and the grooves where machined in and then the whole thing was polished. :)
