Love those 1950 Plymouth wagons. Many memories of the neighbors wagon, an ugly pea green. And my first car was a 1949 Dodge 2-door coupe, maroon with wide whites and full hubcaps.
    Great pictures.

Those last hubcaps look like mid 50's Cadillac. Love to have that wagon with a late model Hemi in it.

:scratchchin: A couple observations regarding the animation. First, it must be retrofitted with Google's driverless technology. Second, and this is the darndest thing, the car does a burnout in reverse and then shoots off forward. Is it using friction toy car technology? :hmmm:

Don't worry about it. These guys are old farts who like to nit-pic.
I like the PhotoShop pics as I am a PhotoShopping fool myself.

Maybe you could show us some other pictures of your wagon?
Interior, engine, stuff like that? Please?:)

Maybe even a Selfie of you and the car?

There is actually a name for the effect that makes spoked wheels seem to spin in reverse.
It's called the wagon wheel effect.
Used to see it all the time in old black and white westerns when the stagecoach was trying to outrun the bad guys.

    I like the old Mopar.(y)
Didn't those cars have steel dashboards that were painted to look like wood?

Whatcha talkin about boy? :banghead3: I really liked the animation. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

old black and white westerns when the stagecoach was trying to outrun the bad guys. Yep Kemosavee, I remember. Darnedest looking thing. But we never let it bother us while watching the movies.

My 1949 Dodge had a maroon metal dash. Like a fool I tried to copy a custom trend in a car magazine. The car was deep maroon so I painted the window garnish and dash white then while still wet used a propane torch set real smokey rich to create a smoke effect in the paint. Can't remember how it came out but now it sounds awful! Wonder I didn't burn it up!:49:

My 1949 Dodge was a Coronet coupe. Almost that color with super wide white walls and full hubcaps. If only it had a V-8 instead of a small six with fluid drive.
My 1939 Ford still has a wood grained dash and window trim.

Yeah I have a friend with a '38 Ford Coupe that he redid the dash and window trim in faux wood paint. It really looks good....
