So, I sort of fell off the grid. Sorry about that. My automotive interests run to the unique. I scored a 79 El Camino V8 4spd car. The original 267 was long gone, but in its place was a fair 350. I was happily driving it daily so my interest in scoring and being active with a wagon had to be restrained. So, what does all this have to do with the Station Wagon forum you ask...... Well last June someone pulled in front of me and sent the El Camino to automotive heaven (broke my d#$n neck too I might add). The untimely passing of the El Camino led to a renewed search for a wagon!!!! I am proud to say I have finally scored a wagon. Being a Pontiac guy I am a little out of my element with this thing. Its a '54 Plymouth Plaza (2 dr base model car) as original as any 60 year old car can be. It still retains the 6 cylinder flat head and 3 spd column shift trans. So, hello everyone. Any Chrysler guys here I will need a little help at times so thanks in advance!!!
Welcome back to the group. Good luck and enjoy your new old wagon. Pictures of all your junk might be interesting.
back! Sorry to hear about your Elky and your injuries. I would have liked the manual shift goodies out of it... A '54 Plymouth 2-dr wagon is a really cool body style. There was one in my area some years back. It had a chopped top, a Camaro subframe, and small block Chevy in it. Post some pics of that bad boy.
Will you be changing you name now? Are you all healed? Sorry to hear about your Elky, but good to here it went to Heaven and not you. back.
I definitely wont be changing my name LOL. I am a Pontiac guy through and through. I was actually shopping a 58 or 61 Pontiac wagon when this came across my radar. It was too good to pass up. I console myself with the fact its an orphan car. I promise to get some pics together and posted for all to see
