Hey gang! Been on here a few times from the side lines and thought I would join. Long time vet of grandmarq.net and been into fullsize ford cars all my life and always had wagons. Had a few before and still have two in the family. I currently and have had for a while a 1985 grand marquis colony park. My old man has a 1988 grand marquis colony park also. My wagon pretty much is my winter warrior and truck while, my 1981 marquis coupe is the weekend cruiser and 1997 Lincoln town car is the summer DD. Any who, look forward to sticking around some!

Welcome, Marquisman, to the SWF. Glad you're here.

I drop over on grandmarquis.net once in a while. Before buying my Safari, a panther Colony Park was on my wish list. (Had a '84 way back in 1989, but that only lasted a week - burned up on me in Vegas.)

We've got quite a lot of big Ford / Mercury owners here, and one more will be appreciated. Fellow Ontario-ian 'MikeT1961' will certainly keep you company. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you already know him.

Welcome Marquisman. We've got a whole bunch of Canadians and just as many Colony Park/Country Squire owners. I've got an '87 and have owned it since '99.

Innisfil, Ontario! Tobacco country when I lived there. I think its fruit and veggie country now, huh!

Yep, I'm from Quebecistan! Born and raised from one coast to the other. Crossed Canada at least 5 times both ways, except to Newfoundland, and as far North as Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and Prince George, BC. My grand pappy was a North West Mounty Sargeant and later, the Chief Purchasing Agent at Aviro - the Arrow jet project!

One awesome piece of the planet. Too bad we can't get Politicians who love it as much.

Great taste in wagons by the way! ;)

Thanks! And nice wagon. '87 is a good year.

awesome story! My wagon is originally from Alberta. Had it shipped to Ontario by rail. And yes, this area is pretty much veggies and fruits lol.

Welcome to the nuthouse, Marquisman. I'm in Barrie, and drive through Innisfil every day, right down Yonge Street. Love the wagon. My dream is to find one of the 86 or 87 Colony Parks that had the factory 351 and Tow Package. There used to be 14 of them in Parry Sound! Half were mushroom beige. Haven't been in a while, so no idea how many are left up there. Hopefully I'll bump into you, not literally, one of these days soon. If you see a silver Monte Carlo SS (DO NOT ASK!!) with 2 howling beagles in it, chances are it is me!
