Looking forward to reading this forum and viewing your Wagons! I have recently made a trade for a 1956 Ford Country Sedan. Some rust but nothing to cry over. Owner is paying to fix. All original, new complete front-end and complete brake job. New tires, dual exhaust system, all glass is original and in great condition. New floor pans. Engine is the original Thunderbird 292 and transmission is a standard three speed with OD! The good news - only 23,000 original miles. No rattles and fun to drive. What did I trade for it??? My mint 1936 Ford slantback. All it needs is a new interior. All original with original flathead engine. Anyway, I need some above average looking, inside and outside door handles if anyone has any for sale. Thanks, Tom Cotton .
Welcome. Another great year and model of one of my favorites. Danged, everything is my favorite. Post some pictures and get active in the forum.
Hello, Thanks - I'm still learning to use this forum - I posted a picture of the wagon this evening. Tom Cotton
to SWF Tom, glad you found us. I copied this pic from your other thread, hope that's OK? It's a beauty!
Tom! That is one sweet lookin' wagon... Love it! I thought you were alittle crazy to trade your slantback sedan for that, but I can see why. Jack
