A Pontiac Chevelle wagon. That is FLAT COOL. I love Canadian hybrids! Keep the pics coming please! -Mike
Not a huge development but definitely a step in the right direction. Fannie is outdoors in the sunshine, a place she hasn't been for just over two years. Hubby and I pushed her out of the garage earlier this afternoon. Now we wait for the bodyshop to fit her into there schedule...
What is that strange white stuff on the ground? Well, excepting where the pup has added some color to it Nice to see the wagon outside and ready to go. Heck, by June you'll be cruising the drive in with it.
Didn't take long did it? She's been with us for only four months, she's about knee height. She had the big operation yesterday. No puppies for Skipper! She seeems to like the wagon. These days it's just white rain, it doesn't last long. Not sure about cruising by June, there are alot of parts that need to go back on.
Congratulations, Fannie. Looking great! Once she is back from the shop, you will be surprised how quickly everything comes together, or at least enough to enable you to drive the old girl, and that will be the biggest boost of all! Can't wait to see the pictures, though. Hopefully you can get into the shop and get pics of the work under way, too. Oh, and Skipper is absolutely beautiful! She'll LOVE riding around in the back, head out the tail gate window, wagging at the other drivers!
20 years!!! Just abit of an update. Hubby has been busy working on Fannie's motor and transmission. He's been swapping out all the gaskets and grinding off the old crappy stuff and it's looking REALLY good! So a few pics MMmmm pretty.
So we are still waiting for the bodyshop...RRR... so no news on that front. Hubby and I went on a day trip around the southern part of the province a couple of weeks ago. While we were in Yarmouth (Fannie's home town) we went looking for the car dealer where Fannie had been sold out of and we found it. After speaking to the woman inside, apparently the building has been well used over the years. First it was a car dealership, then a service station, then a scuba shop and now it a gift shop.
Neat to be able to do that Fannie. I can't with the wagon, but the Chevelle I was able to identify the dealer, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (yes, that is a real city in a real province - try saying that fast five times). They were completely uninterested in helping me locate any paperwork, etc. even though I offered to pay what they felt it would cost (they didn't even bother to suggest a number). Oh well.............. Are there any dealership employees still left in the town that you can track down?
