This is the new mill I put under the hood of my 67 Futura wagon. It's got all the goodies and I built it all by myself. Every nut and bolt! What you're looking at is a 427 CID stroker engine. I have put it together over the last two years and it is wicked. I can't wait to get it on a dyno. I hope to make around 500+ horsepower and still make it to the grocery store on occasion in record time!
Nice! Are you leaving that air cleaner on it? I ask because of your other post about the hood scoops. Are you planning on directing air from the hood scoop directly into the carb?
Congratulation on your assertive wagon!! Dear unkldave and assertive station wagon lovers, Congratulations that's one assertive wagon engine!! Golly, you sure must be in a hurry to get d'em groceries!! Cheers, Edouard
unkldave..once you start pulling wheelies be sure and check the body under the left a pillar the old mustangs @ 271 horse would tear there........Phil
I am going to use this air cleaner. I like the look of it and I am going to relocate the battery and place some chrome funnels and the induction hoses in the nitch on both sides of the radiator. I love the idea of cold air induction and it looks too cool to me. Thanks for the compliments everybody.
