Much like "Wayne's World" Bob & Doug started out as a bunch of short skits on the TV show "SCTV". I bet you'll find them all on YouTube. SCTV was where a lot of greats from the Second City comedy group got their start (SCTV=Second City TV). Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, and Joe Flaherty. It was great watching them back then because it was just plain funny. It's pretty cool watching them now in re-runs and think of all of them in the same room at the same time.

A while back I started recording SCTV re-runs and editing out everything but the Bob & Doug stuff. I watched all of the skits, and then the movie and then the Bob & Doug Two-Four Anniversary DVD. Oddly, I had to take a break for a while but I think I'm ready to watch them again. :bouncy:

The only thing wrong with that is it would be really hard to move 75% - 80% of Missouri and that includes 99.99% of the population in and around Joplin, MO.
