    You might be wise to confine your searching to the southwest and west coast areas. Easier to get home, too......
    Hey - if you find something drivable, I might be up for a road trip....

    Mike (81X11) posted this in another thread....he may even be able to look at it for you if it is close enough to him. Looks to be worth a look. And it will have a better 440 than that 76 smog engine.

    Hey - thanks for the link! I called the guy at noon today; sounds like a real solid car, and a pretty good price. He was suppose to email me photos, but haven't seen them yet. Would Mike be able to look at it, if it's not too far away? That would be great. I'm going to check into transport cost now...
    Thanks again - this forum is pretty cool!

    After you look at the pix ... PM 82X11 and ask how close he is to that T&C. If you want it after all is said and done...be forewarned that the gas mileage will suck. But, oh so fun to drive!
    Here's where Mike posted it....

    Round Rock, Texas where Mike lives (basically an Austin suburb) to the center of Houston is 165 miles per Mapquest........

    Wait....bad gas mileage, on a 19' long car with a 440? I was thinking maybe 20-25mpg?

    :)

    :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

    It's not going to be a DD for you, is it? I wouldn't worry too much about the mileage.......it's the SMILES PER GALLON that you're interested in.
