    I swear, sometimes people confuse me... why WOULDNT this have been mass produced?

    The Firebird Shooting break, it was a really cool design. I like the way the rear windows open like gull-wing doors. :)

    It was a neat design for a concept vehicle, but I guarantee you there would have been problems with the seals (weatherstrips) on the lift-up side glass. The designers would probably have had to substitute fixed glass.

    You're probably right, KK. When Ford first introduced the Bronco II, they had intended to have the rear side windows removable, somewhat reminisicent of the Jeep Wrangler. I guess they never could figure out how to do it without leaking and subsequent rust problems, so they pulled the option and all of them were non removable.

    Whats funny is, they made plastic models of these cars, they even made one of the camaro wagon that looked like this car. i have both.
