    She does look beautiful, but the pics are a year old ( no offence intended Tobias, but they are)

    Again, no offence intended but it's imposible IMO, for me to give a "REAL" discription with out a test drive. To my understanding the wagon is not insured/can't be test driven because of. Tobias the seller has been very helpful with Ina to my understanding, providing/giving me via Ina, "have at it, LOOK" but not being able to test drive what do I really say? The wagon is on my island but the seller is on the mainland, thats a big puddle jump and expensive with ferrie costs just to provide a 1 day permit of $26 ( I phoned my Insurance). I'm more than willing to help, but even if I was buying the car for myself, not being able to test drive the car I would pass and again, no offence intended but we have a buyer from way over the big pond and a seller from over my side of the little pond....

    ....If both of you can arrange a test drive, prefered with Tobias present I would be more than happy to help:tiphat: Again, no offence intended but there could be to many dark ereas with me being some what stuck in the middle.

    I agree, Tedy...if the seller can't allow you to drive the car there isn't much you can tell by standing and looking at it. What a shame...but, hey, there are others coming up all the time. Be patient, Ina. We'll find you one. One we can properly inspect.:yup:

    Lets do it, Sooke road is a good test drive, some hills, a bit windey, perfect road for a test drive.

    Well.....I guess Tobias' reticence has to tell us something. I have been talking with Tedy about this car and NO one can understand why Tobias is reluctant to make the car available for a test drive. I, for one, don't understand why he's not in here addressing questions and getting together with Tedy who is willing to inspect the uninspectable.:confused:

    OK, so the ball is in Tobias's court. I'll give understanding that getting a permit for Ina's test drive this weekend is on short notice for various reasons. A temprorary permit can be bout any date and post dated to when ever, so I asked Ina to reply that, and that Tobias's father has the entire week ( Sounds like Dad has title/registration?:huh:) to get a permit for next weekend Saturday July 2nd.

    No permit for test drive, I'm not waisting Ina's time...... No "guarentee"(as mentioned..???) for permit, I wouldn't look at a car for even myself!

    Tobias said that a test drive (and 1 day permit) is not a problem if his father's health is not too bad that day to accomodate that.

    Why are you going back and forth through Ina, Tedy? I mean...LOL...why isn't Tobias here answering you personally? Poor Ina can't do anything from Holland. Personally, I would simply walk away from this one. WAY too many mysteries from the seller that cannot be solved without the seller's small amount of help. Just the way I am. I hope it's a great car and Ina is delighted with it. I have serious doubts that this is ever going to happen.
    EDIT:
    I feel badly that his father's health is bad. However, since Tobias is selling the car, I don't see that his fathers health on that day has anything to do with an inspection and/or test drive.

    Ina[​IMG], I can fully understand when it comes to a ageing fathers health, I'm living it rite now and my father is going home in a few days.

    I am concerned for you though....

    I am concerned with "can't guarentee permit" by Tobias.....who never posts!

    Who has tiltle/registration to the car? That is a big concern to me!

    You are taking a big chance buying a car from here, if all I can do is "look", listen to it idle, ...... I don't want you to buy a problem.

    We have not heard anything from Tobias on this forum. He has made 2 posts in 1 year, and if you didn't find his origonal post.........
