1955 Dodge Coronet Suburbun 2 door station wagon. 1957 Chrysler 392 cubic inch engine. It is going through a frame off rebuild at this moment. I have an Art Morrison "Pro Touring" frame on order for the car. It should be ready in two weeks, according to Brock Baker of Art Morrison. They don't actually make a frame fo a 1955 Dodge so they have to modify one that is close in order to make it fit.
The engine is stroked to 422 inches, has a special grind hydraulic roller camshaft. Comp Cams ground it to my specs. I got in contact with Chris Ryan of Comp Cams (great fellow, by the way) and we designed a camshaft. It is a billet steel bump stick and looks more like jewelery than an engine part. I have 7.1 inch "H" beam rods on the offset ground crankshaft. I have Hot Heads aluminum heads and a Weind 2X4 manifold and will run 2 600 CFM Edelbrock carburetors. The little computer program sez I should make around 675 horses and around 650 lbs/ft torque. And I will put the mother on the dyno. Both at the flywheel and the rear wheels. That's one hell of an engine.
