i have been scrolling through all kinds of posts trying to find pics of the Buick wagon that a member here was turning into a 2 door wagon. Was thinking it was a 72-73 Buick wagon. I haven't been able to track down the thread on it.

Doesn't seem that long ago, yet it was. Almost as if the hail storm damage took the wind from his sail so to say. It was coming along so nice too!

It got hammered with hail after he had body work and paint done I think. I got the impression he lost the drive to work on it after that. He was on here for a minute a year or so ago, but no more updates. Probably like everyone else life keeps moving and time goes by. I've had a car in my garage on jackstands for the last 13 years because I just don't have the desire to work on it. I can't believe it has been sitting that long, but it is amazing how quickly time goes by and how easy it is to get busy doing everything else.

Thanks for the reminder, I have a 67 Cougar in the garage all took apart with 0.5% rust, now almost completely covered with you name it......
It's my first car, cost me $525 in 1982, turn key, needed nothing. been garaged since 1986, last time I ran it was 2000. Drove it into the house (garage) we have now, and there it sits. Kid, dogs, work, life in general...... a regular "car" just never fit into the picture.
I really have no clue why I still hoard it!
