perusing through the photo gallery I found this from a member "griswold." Which leads me a question I've pondered since first seeing the movie. Any thoughts or knowledge on what the family truckster was built on, or comprised of?? The headlights look like my 83 coup de ville. One set on bottom, then another set upside down? Tail lights look like and LTD? Pair on the right and left? WHAT WAS THAT??? IMG_0877.JPG

Look carefully, and think what those headlights and that bumper resemble, versus what you own.

I should have said my 83 coup de ville I USED to own. It got stolen out of the driveway over 10 years ago. Apparently the car is desirable among pimps, drug dealers, and other dregs of society. I still got my eyes peeled for it! My next guess on the headlights would be ford crown Vic?!

'82 (or thereabouts) vintage Country Squire. Of course, they bought EXTRA parts (off the same type of vehicle) along the way. The WQFT has two pairs of headlight assemblies (2nd pair swapped right for left), and two pairs of tail light assemblies (done the same way). Lots of extra wood grain surround moldings, too.
