Washed the '53 Wag tonight for a local town car show, two miles away. I haven't tested the Alfa Spider, but assume it will go, and it's clean enough. They have a tractor show component also, but the battery on my Elk seems dubious. but close enough I could drive it there. No reason not to take the 41 Cad coupe, the 47 Buick coupe and the 63 Cadillac coupe, since all would drive with a shot of either and a battery charge. Where are my "washers and drivers?" I seem to recall enthusiastic Volunteers for such situations in prior postings. What's the secret to rounding up a crowd that you'd be willing to turn over the keys to if you'd only you trusted the cars to return safely? It seems, in these "troubled times," that everyone to too busy.
Why they are out buying up discounted vintage vehicles to play with. Of course now they too are looking for someone to help them wash and drive them
Tailwagon, I'd be happy to wash some of your vehicles just to sit in them and make "Udin udin varooom" sounds. But noticed in my slightly advanced age that my fingers get wrinkled when touching too much water.
