No problem. A camera can't catch how awesome the paint job is on the Malibu street car, it was gorgeous.

He's up in the air about changing the front clip to an earlier model to be able to run class with a big block. Theres a couple on Craigslist here in town for a reasonable amount. At least they were there.

ooooo! That black woodie Malibu is awesome! And the baby blue Fox woodie wagon (probably an '82 Cougar too). How did he get the wood so glossy on the Malibu!?

Don't worry, this is the right place to post those machines. Goes great with a morning coffee!;)

The woodgrain is a paint procedure. There's no panels/tape there. It even had gator hyde interior.

I just wasn't sure if they were supposed to go in the gallery. I thought that might be for personal cars.

I've done the grain painting too, but that is mirror grade work.

I thought the US had an embargo on gator skins. Shoes, purses, etc. Must've lifted it.

In the 70's when they were endangered. I'm sure its probably a faux material. Now here in Fl we have a season for them. We even have a "season" on pythons because so many have been released into the wild they are starting to threaten certain wildlife areas. God I hate snakes.

There's was a news item up here, last week about an illegally imported python that killed the owner's 3 year old daughter. And then the channel brought on some Canadian snake eggspurt to say that 100% of owners get attacked by their snakes. Good old Duddly-do-right fuddle-duddles once again! They really don't think the country has enough grey-matter together beyond plancton.

We have two regions with native rattle snakes in the west and my province has the green and yellow striped garden snake pits. I'm sure Harrison Ford knows about it for his Indiana roles. Every now and then they talk about the town where these snake pits are and show them writhing all over each other coming out for a spring feed on field mice. Gives me the creeps, too.
