i'm looking for a rig for a serpentine belt tensioner for a Volvo S80 I think it is. I replaced a fella's tensioner some time back.he needs more work done which requires the removal of the belt. The tensioner required a special tool but I think I managed to do the repair using a 1/2 inch drive socket wrench, with a nickel (American $) on opposing side of the drive? I know it took about 30 cents to get the job done plus some hard labor. Anyone got a better idea? Here is a picture of the tensioner and of the area said "special tool" fits. Below are a few examples of the wasted nickels that will never be accepted by any vending machine, at any cafeteria, nation wide:meh::disagree::disagree:never seen the Monticello and it's a shame because I am a bit fond of Jefferson, but I think he would approve of this defacing :thumbs2::rofl2: IMG_1207.JPG IMG_1209.JPG IMG_1208.JPG

Or just re-use those nickles that you illegally defaced then posted on a public forum.
When finished just grind them smooth and buy a Coke or give the damaged nickles to some kid for Easter.

I had made the ground-down 3/4" adapter, since we had a few customers with Volvos. I then coupled it with a HF serp belt arm. But I never thought of stuffing a nickel in with a 1/2".
