I know where a few are, but I don't own one. I have always thought they were a cool, unique car.

Vista Cruisers are unique. A 1970 model was featured in the TV show " The 70's Show"
I get a lot of questions regarding the roof glass. My Cruiser was originally ordered by a dealer in Bellingham, Washington and then routed to a dealer in Renton, Washington. Car spent most of its life on the West Coast before ending up in Texas

Yes they are. Were there any rust issues on your car? Both of the cities you mention are on the wet side of the state.

Rust issues behind the trim on all 3 of the roof windows, and on the very back of the long side windows. Removed all the SS trim, fixed the rusted areas and resealed the windows. Also put a small patch repair on the rear of the driver's side front fender. That is a very common issue with all Vista Cruisers

Right on. Sounds like it was a solid car to begin with.

This was a one owner car. I bought it from the granddaughter of the original owner. 125,00 miles but well cared for and he kept a lot of records.
