Vintage Toy Station Wagon Collection I've been collecting old toy cars and trucks for about twenty years, they are easier to park and insure but not as much fun to drive. Of course a good part of my 250+ piece collection is station wagons. Most of the stuff is from the '60s and '70s with some older and newer. I've got diecast, plastic, pressed steel and those great tin friction pieces made in Japan. I've started to video and post my collection on Youtube. They are short videos, under two minutes long. The first video I ever did was of a portion of my wagon collection. There is a link below. I also have 5 other videos on that each have some other wagons in them. Check them out. If the link doesn't work you can also get to them by putting TOY DEN STATION WAGON in the search box on YOUTUBE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dajH8Y9ynSI
Great collection of wagons, and some major money in tin! Is the '67-'68 Mercury wagon a Matchbox Major Pack? Seem to recall those from the MBX catalogs back in the '60's. TG
I do not but I'll check with my brother who also has a large collection. If he does I'll contact you.
I have a couple of the Merc wagons. One has a Cougar dragster on a trailer with it which I believe was part of a major pack set.
I have few of those cool green COuntry Squire wagons from Matchbox or were they Mercury? I have not touched them for a long time as my house is a mess.
