Check out the photos at this link to see diorama photos of vintage street scenes built by Michael Paul Smith in 1/24 scale using 1/24 scale diecast model cars. http://www.flickr.com/photos/24796741@N05/sets/72157604247242338/ He's recreating his childhood home town in miniature. Incredible work!!! Here's just two photos to entice you to check it out.
Unbelievable!!!! This guy's work is fantastic. This one image is like a slap in the face realizing that these really are scale model scenes.
In the picture of the Stude in front of 239, it looks so realistic and that the hand must be that of God fixing the driver's parking job.
If I didn't know otherwise, my first thought would be that the hand was Photoshopped into the picture.
Some of those look so absolutely real, especially the ones with the little house. They look just like someone's old family photos. What an amazingly talented guy! David PS. thanks Jim, for finding these, and showing to us!
Astrounding workmanship!!!!!! It never ceases to amaze me what I'll find on this wagon site.. a great bunch of people sharing the wonders of life as we grow older .
